The Principality, Andorra has issued the first coin of an exclusive set of four silver coins. It's the first issue of the Atlas of Wildlife‚ - a brand-new low mintage series! The idea of vivid depiction of the animals on Earth in their natural habitat gave life to the series and the most widespread animals of each continent inspired the coin designers. Each high relief coin of the Atlas of Wildlife is struck of 1 oz pure silver .999 and decorated with a colored Swarovski crystal.
The obverse of the coin displays the emblem of the Principality of Andorra surrounded by the inscriptions indicating the face value of the coin, its metal fineness, issuing country and year.
Special minting technique has been employed to reveal stunning details of an artistic image of the animal on the reverse. It features a wild boar within its natural habitat, and apart from the Swarovski crystal, nothing else to interfere with the clarity of the design.
